I love my new home!  Since this was the first home I was buying on my own, I was a little concerned.  I still feel single women are often taken advantage of when it comes to car/home repairs and buying a car/house.  I did not have a realtor I was working with, so I handled everything with John's help.  I would not trust just anyone, but I somehow knew I could trust John.  He helped me contact a lender that handles rural loans, and I was able to close on my home in two weeks!  I have had some very minor things that neeeded work, and when I email John, he always responds right away.  He even checked back with me to make sure the items got done.  I guarantee you will never have a better home buying experience than with Dreamworks!

As a first time home buyer, I had no idea what to expect or even what went into the home buying process.  Safe to say, I was extremely satisfied with how Dreamworks Homes handled their business.  They were very professional and friendly at the same time, not something I'm used to.  From the first time I met with Janel, walking through one of the Open House models, I was at ease and comfortable.  Every time I met with either John or Ferrell, it was a pleasant experience.  For someone my age to take on a challenge like this, I don't think the process could have been any easier than these folks made it.  From signing the contract, to picking out all the colors and options with Nancy, all the way through getting my keys was a joyful experience.  The finished product turned out a lot better than I ever expected and the quality of their work is phenomenal.  Any questions or issues I had were answered or remedied quickly and professionally.  I would recommend Dreamworks Homes to anyone and everyone that's looking for a good quality new home.

 DreamWorks is an ideal word to describe a community such as Wooden Eagle Plantation.  I had never built a home before and it was an experience I will never forget.  There were huge, as well as small, decisions to be made during the process of the building of my new home.  At times it would seem as if  Mr. Ferrell and John Kitchens would  take me by the hand, reassure me,  and then walk me through the different  phases of the building of my hopefully soon to be retirement home.   They worked untiringly to please my ever changing mind and the end results were exactly as I had hoped for.   I love the community feel of the sidewalks, the greetings of the walkers as they pass in front of my house, right on to the sight of seeing Mr. Kitchens and John working around the neighborhood and often stopping to talk with me while I am out in my yard and of course always waving and asking if I am doing OK.  A beautiful new home, new friends, and living within 2 miles of my 8 grandchildren, how much better can life be?

On June 20, 2007, I closed on my house located on Weatherwood Road in the Ridgewood area of Wooden Eagle Plantation. I was relocating from Lake Sinclair and looked at various houses in this area. I was very happy with the appearance of the property both outside and inside. It offered many things that were not included in the other properties. Outside: Stone front with vinyl siding on the other 3 sides. Sod included on front and back yards. Both yards had a sprinkler system and the back yard was fully enclosed with a privacy fence. Landscaping included in front yard. Inside: Very nice floor plan with excellent selection of kitchen accessories. Gas fireplace in great room. After initial walk-through, developer corrected everything notated before final walk-through. Overall, the developer made the entire experience a very pleasant one.

 I love the area I live in and would not trade it for the world. For some reason the area seems to attract great citizens and it is close to great schools. The neighbors keep their property looking healthy and they are very nice people. The homes themselves are built with high quality materials such as crown molding and judges paneling. Even the appliances themselves are high qulaity. I would recommend this area to anyone looking for a peaceful and high quality area to live in.

Wooden Eagle Plantation is a great place to live. It is nice to have a builder who really cares about the community and tries to make it a better place. The Christmas party was a hugh success and was a lot of fun. Everyone in the neighborhood is so nice and is such a pleasure to be around.

We were first time home buyers who were looking for a place to settle down. After several months of looking we found a brand new subdivision being built called Wooden Eagle. We have now been livng here for about a year and absolutely love it! It is a beautiful affordable neighborhood complete with sidewalks, oak tress, privacy fences and a playground. When we decide to add to our family our new home is located near several new schools! We look forward to living here for many years to come.

This was our first experience building a home, so we were both quite nervous. We had heard all of the horror stories from friends and relatives. We were pleasantly surprised. We were included throughout the process, from the moment we met Ferrell to pick out our lot, until the day we signed the papers. The original house we picked out had already been sold so Ferrell took the plan we liked and put it on another lot.

We were able to add our own personal touches and colors and were welcomed during the frequent visits we made to see our home in progress and take pictures. Ferrell and John continued to be helpful and check on us even after the papers were signed. We were treated with the utmost respect. We would definitely use Dreamworks builders again.

We bought our home Oct 2006. My wife and I have been very happy with not just the quality of the home but the personal attention that Mr. Kitchens and his family have showed us. From the very start, Mr. Kitchens was courteous and patient, we are not first time buyers, and were very unhappy with our last builder. So we came to the table with our guns drawn. We were very thorough with our inspection, Mr. Kitchens had no problem, actually he seems pleased to find and fix the discrepancies. Even after closing they (Mr. Kitchens and his son) visited us frequently asking if we needed anything or found anything else that needs to be addressed. On one particular visit I was most impressed. We had just finished an upgrade and invited them in to show off what we did, as they were walking out they noticed a discrepancy in the ceiling texture that we never did, and immediately called their drywall people to fix it. I was very pleased with not only their attention to detail in their homes but also to their reputation and the reputation of their company, to ensure they give you the best possible product.
